OASys

OASys provides de-identified, aggregate statistics such as: incidence and mortality projections, age-standardised rates using Australian and World population standards, Kaplan-Meier all-cause crude survival rates. All measures in OASys can be stratified according to various demographic and diagnostic groups such as: age and sex, cancer primary site and morphology, socioeconomic group and indigenous status. Number of people diagnosed with colon cancer and number of people who died from colon cancer in 2010 in the Sunshine Coast area.

Governance

Statistical data containing aggregated data may be released by QCCAT with the acknowledgement of OASys terms and conditions. Contact us to discuss analysis requirements.

Who can get access

Queensland Health employee - Use of OASys by Queensland Health employees is governed by Queensland Health's Code of Conduct. Before accessing OASys data the employee must read and agree to terms and conditions outlined by clicking on accept button in OASys.

Non Queensland Health employee - Teams external to Queensland Health are required to complete the Data Access and Use Deed to access OASys data. The instructions on how to apply are contained within the deed.
